Swiss Ordinance Update: No fundamental changes within Evonik Coating Additives portfolio

On Dec 1, 2019 the new Swiss Ordinance with new positive lists for printing inks and other consumer goods came into force.

Being involved in the “substances’ clean-up” from the beginning, we – Evonik Coating Additives assume no fundamental changes of the compliance situation of our printing ink additives. However, we take this regulatory change as an occasion to initiate a full food contact status re-evaluation of our portfolio. Taking into consideration the amount of products in combination with the complexity, we aim to finalize the full reevaluation in the second half of 2020.

In the meantime, unless otherwise informed, the Swiss Ordinance (Annex X) status remains as previously communicated.
