Results in a PVC 30 architectural paint based on MOWILITH® LDM 1871C are a good example for the performance of TEGO® Foamex 27. In this system, the blank shows a significant challenge with foam stabilization both in the foam stir test as well as in the roller test with open pore sponge roller. With 0.5 % of defoamer added, TEGO® Foamex 27 efficiently reduces the foam while maintaining a film free of defects. Other defoamers show the typical dilemma of either insufficient foam management or insufficient compatibility
